Hi, I'm Benjamin, and I'm a Waypointer.
I serve as a pastor, adjunct professor, and entrepreneur. I founded The Waypointer Collective and JIMR out of a simple conviction: everything in our lives is meant to be an act of worship to God. That includes how we spend our money.
Most of us don't think about our spending as worship. But God intends every area of our lives (how we treat our families, our hobbies, our careers, even our Saturday afternoon purchases) to be pointed toward Him. I wanted to help businesses answer a question I kept hearing: How do I use my business to forward the Gospel? And I wanted to help consumers find businesses that would take their dollars and do something eternal with them.
When people donate money to the church that I serve as the pastor at, I encourage them to give because God can use their change (money) to bring change (eternal transformation). I believe God can use the marketplace to do this as well.
That's The Waypointer Collective. A curated directory of businesses run by followers of Jesus who are actively, verifiably advancing the Gospel through their work. Not just good businesses run by Christians, but businesses that are intentionally moving the mission of Jesus forward.
The other half of this story is JIMR.
JIMR (Jesus Is My Religion) is a clothing brand I started when I felt God calling me to build something with the message at the center, not as an add-on. In a world where people are increasingly skeptical of religion and institutions, they are still looking for Jesus. JIMR creates space for people to say it plainly: Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life.
Every purchase at JIMR puts money toward Bible translation. Ten percent of every sale goes directly to interpreting Scripture into languages that communities desperately need. You spend $30, $3 goes out. You spend $300, $30 goes out. The Word of God has the power to change lives wherever it lands, and every order helps it land somewhere new.
The Waypointer Collective and JIMR are two expressions of the same burden. One helps consumers spend with Kingdom purpose. The other puts that purpose directly into the hands and hearts of people who need the Gospel.

When I first felt the pull to launch JIMR, the question I kept coming back to wasn't, "will this sell?" It was, "will this matter?" Clothes are temporary. But the message on the shirt, and the Bible translation funded by the sale, can outlast the garment by generations. That way of thinking changed how I thought about business, and eventually led to The Waypointer Collective: a way to help every Kingdom-minded business ask the same question and answer it well.
